It’s difficult sometimes to seek the help we need. Men in particular find it difficult to talk and even get around to finding help. As a man, I know this too, but I also know that it’s OK to seek some help.
We sometimes think we can do it ourselves until it becomes too much. So I encourage more openness for everyone.
The ways I can help address your needs are many and varied, just understanding how the brain works, why it does what it does and how we can suffer in the way that we do, is one of the keys to helping piece together the unlocking of the door. In a state of high alert or emotion, we sometimes lose intellectual control, and to a greater or lesser extent, the primitive mind takes over. This mind always operates within the primitive parameters of anger, anxiety, low mood, or a combination of all three.
